Ieasha Prime is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Barakah, Inc.  She has spent her life as an educator, artist, activist and entrepreneur committed to the goal of empowering Muslim women to rise above their challenges to maximize their full potential of being female servants of Allah and vicegerents on this earth.  Her lineage of scholarship from whom she received direct education can be traced directly back to the Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Salaam) from Husseini lineage.  Under the tutelage of her professors, she has established several circles of knowledge and continues to teach and lecture across the United States and abroad.  She has lectured and facilitated workshops for Muslim women, youth, and interfaith groups in high schools, universities, college campuses, churches, community centers and Masjids around the country and the world.  She is one the newest members of the Executive Committee of MANA (Muslim Alliance of North America).




Nisa Muhammad is the Co-Founder and Program Manager of Barakah, Inc.  She also has spent her life as an educator and activist dedicated to the rise of oppressed people with the use of Islam to change their condition and maximize their full potential of being female servants of Allah and vicegerents on this earth.  She has a Doctor of Ministry in Sacred Texts from Howard University's School of Divinity,  a Masters in Islamic Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Islamic Chaplaincy from Hartford Seminary.  She is on the board of the Association of Muslim Chaplains.  Mrs. Muhammad is the Internship Coordinator for Sapelo Square, an Online resource about Black Muslims.  She's also pursuing a Ph.D. in African Studies with a concentration in Islamic Studies at Howard University.
